During her senior year, she wrote an investigative article for an online publication about human trafficking which won several prizes and drew attention from major news outlets around the world.
After graduating from UNCW with honors, Natalie went on to earn an MA in Journalism from Columbia University before embarking on a successful career as a journalist. Today Natalie continues to use her voice and platform to fight for social justice issues both at home and abroad.
